LUTHERAN WEDDING MINISTER, NAPA VALLEY
Rev. Todd Bertani
Todd Bertani earned his Masters of Divinity Degree from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary. He believes that when two people meet, fall in love and decide they want to spend the rest of their lives together, they should have the freedom and the right to do so. Love between two consenting adults transcends religion, societal expectations, and needs to be validated in the manner any two people desire. Because of this, he sees his role as an ordained minister to affirm, recognize and facilitate the coming together of two people through marriage no matter what the faith or history of the couple involved may be. A wedding under a beautiful oak tree can be just as powerful and meaningful as a wedding in a cathedral.
CATHOLIC WEDDING OFFICIANT, NAPA VALLEY
Fr. Kenneth Babauta
Ordained in October 1990 at St. Victor Oratory in American Canyon, CA. I believe the priest’s role is to offer a variety of prayers and readings and give the couple the opportunity to choose what is, in their opinion, conducive to their lifestyle. In this way, the bridegroom and bride will receive far greater benefit from the celebration. Priests should first of all strengthen and nourish the faith of those about to be married. The priest is also responsible to advise, to urge and to give good counsel to those about to be married.
